She had a birthday...and it flew by.
I did plan a friend party last minute, but the traditional family party was left by the wayside with Easter, A Baby Blessing and Sealing.
But we had fun anyway.
I didn't get around to the skirts for Easter but my mom saved the day when she hit a big dress sale.
I did get a tie for Max at the Holy Cow Boutique. I love those $5 ties. If they get food on them you don't croak as loud.
We dyed eggs on Saturday and searched for them on Sunday.

We had dinner at my parents house with my moms siblings and my grandma.
It was such a nice day.
Oh, and the rooster (which if you haven't heard the stories of yet I will introduce you to later) delivered a ceramic frog and mushroom to Grandma Price's and kites and balls (eggs) to our house.
Last year he was dressed as a bunny and had plastic eggs filled with candy trailing behind him.
That rooster!
So we took our Spring Break a little early this year. Reed had a conference in St. George so we came with him.
He surprised me with the idea of going a night early and staying at Zions (one of my favorite/regular spring break stops as a child/teen).
Some great reasons to go this time of year (pending the weather of course)
In Zions:
The trams weren't running yet, so we got to drive our car through.
We didn't book a hotel because there were so many available. We walked in and got a 2 bed room for $69 w/free continental breakfast.
It wasn't crowded.
In St. George:
At snow canyon the sand wasn't too hot.
Jenny's Canyon hike was open.
It was warm enough to swim outdoors, but we had the option of indoors too.
We enjoyed hiking the narrows, canyon overlook and emerald pools. We also loved driving through the tunnel and seeing all the beautiful sights on the way.
We also went to our favorite old candy store: Judd's.
And dinners at the park were perfect.
We all had lots of fun.
